5 ways to re-use your articles (part 2)
Here are a couple more ways to maximize the return from your articles.
4. Convert your articles into audio files.
Not all your readers like to read. Some may prefer to listen to audio, especially those who work out in a gym or commute long distance to and from work.
You can read your articles and record them yourself using free audio recording software such as Audacity. Alternatively, hire someone to do it for you if your budget allow.
Then you can choose to sell the audio files as a separate product or provide them as a value added service to your readers.
You can also submit the audio files to podcast directories and drive traffic back to your squeeze page and build your list quickly.
5. Convert your articles into video files.
You can also create video presentation powerpoint slides using the content from your articles and record the presentation using screen recording software (such as Camtasia).
Then submit them to Youtube or other videos sites and drive traffic back to your squeeze page. If you do not have MS Office, just download OpenOffice from Openoffice.org. It is free and comes with presentation software similar to Powerpoint.
Although Camtasia is recommended, its price tag ($299) may turn you off. In this case, you can try a cheap alternative called CamstudioPro . Although it lacks many advanced features found in Camtasia (which you probably will not use anyway), it has enough firepower to do simple video recording and editing.
You can sell these videos as standalone product or offer them with resale rights, master resale rights and even private label rights.
If you are not familiar with video recording and editing, you can hire someone to do it for you at one of the freelancing site, such as eLance.
Both audio and video files have higher perceived value and you should give it a try as soon as possible.
