Creating a win-win situation for ezine publishers
Lets look at a scenario where we create a win-win situation with other ezine publishers and yourself.
Say you have a website that teach consumer how to protect themselves from spyware and malware. There is an opt in from on the site that capture visitors name and email addresses. Your main objective is to build a list of people interested in spyware and malware protection.
Your main target market will be PC users using the Windows OS.
So you search for ezine publishers that deal with the topic of Windows software development, MS Office tips, Internet browser tips, etc.
Check out this post for finding ezine publishers:

Next find an anti-Adware product that has an affiliate program. It can be an ebook or software.
Say you chose the Adware Alert software from clickbank, which has the following affiliate link below:
http://zzzzz.adalert.hop.clickbank.net/
Now, email those publishers you found earlier and tell them you would like to write an article for their ezine for free.
State clearly that your article will include a relevant product called AdwareAlert that contains their affiliate ID and you would like the publishers to keep the author bio box intact in that article.
Ask for their clickbank ID or give them instructions on how to sign up for one if they are not a Clickbank affiliate. You can also sign up on their behalf if they can provide you with the necessary information.
Once they reply with the acceptance of your proposal, write the article quickly. Something like “7 ways to rid your PC of Adware and spyware” or “3 Things that make your PC a Adware magnet” will do fine.
Add in their affiliate link for AdwareAlert somewhere in the article body. So if the publisher id is samjoe, then the affiliate link becomes:
http://samjoe.adalert.hop.clickbank.net/
Make sure the product is introduced in the right context. For example,
One way to detect and clean malware is to use a software like AdwareAlert, which you can find here:
http://samjoe.adalert.hop.clickbank.net
The publishers will likely reject your article if the product appear in the wrong context, such as the following:
Malware and spyware are causing corporations millions of dollars a year in productivity. (http://samjoe.adalert.hop.clickbank.net)
Do not cloak the affiliate link. This is to show the ezine publishers that the link is indeed embedded with the right affiliate ID.
When you email the article to them, remember to ask when they intend to run the article. Make sure you sign up for their ezines too so you know when your article is published.
After you have done a few deals like this, you can hire someone to do it on your behalf. This will free up your time to do other things that need to be done.
This is just an example and you should modified the method as necessary to suit your situation.
